| 0:16.6 | Good morning. In the news this morning, more people are now eligible to be tested for coronavirus in Montgomery County. |
| 0:21.9 | County officials have relaxed the restrictions determining who is eligible for testing. |
| 0:26.1 | Health workers have been conducting tests on Temple University's Ambler campus. |
| 0:30.1 | Previously, that testing was restricted to only people with severe symptoms, including fevers of 100.4 degrees or higher, |
| 0:37.1 | and respiratory symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath, people who had temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, and respiratory symptoms, such as coughing |
| 0:38.8 | or shortness of breath, people who had temperature of 99.6 degrees and were above 65, or were |
| 0:44.6 | over, and first responders who were concerned that they had been exposed to the coronavirus. |
| 0:49.4 | But now people of all ages can be tested as long as they have symptoms of sudden illness, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste. There's those symptoms thrown in there now, nausea, and or vomiting, which we haven't really heard too much of that as part of coronavirus. But if there's some sort of sudden illness, you can be tested. Those wishing to be tested do not have to have a fever. |
