We'll start with this story.

A prosecutor in Bucks County has been demoted

after he allegedly worked as a delivery driver while on the job. I saw this. On Thursday,

District Attorney Matt Weintraub announced that Jennifer M. Shorn will replace Greg Schor as

first assistant district attorney for Bucks County. According to the DA's office, Shore delivered food for DoorDash and at times during normal business hours.

Using his accrued vacation time, Shore has repaid the county the money that he earned while working that extra job while on duty.

According to Shore, he told action news, due to personal

circumstances, I worked a second job delivering food during the COVID pandemic. Shore says he

averaged about three hours a week delivering for DoorDash since last March. He said, I primarily

worked a job at night and on weekends. However, I made the incredibly poor decision to

deliver during the workday at times. In doing so, I realized that it betrayed my boss, colleagues,

and most importantly, the citizens of Bucks County. Shore made more than $120,000 a year,

according to the Bucks County Courier Times. Wynetrobb says, Shore will remain in the office as Deputy District Attorney and have the opportunity to earn back the trust and confidence of myself,

this office, and the Bucks County community.

Shore has served with the District Attorney's office from 96 to 2000 and then returned again in 2015.

Shore started the insurance fraud unit and prosecuted Cosmo DeNardo and Sean Crads for the 2017 murders of four young men.

This is kind of interesting person because I was talking about this with my pizza delivery guy last night, Mayor Kenny.

And we said, is this an appropriate thing to be doing?
