In the news this morning, Pennsylvania Task Force 1 has deployed crews to set up at Citizens Bank Park.

Two tractor trailers were being unloaded yesterday and tents with P-A-T-F-1 written on top were being raised.

The Pennsylvania Task Force 1 is one of 28 operational and deployable groups established by FEMA that can respond to a disaster.

The sports complex is one of the sites being considered by officials as the coronavirus testing location.

The city of Philadelphia is working with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to stand up testing sites for COVID-19 coronavirus.

Details about the sites are still being finalized to ensure the safety of anyone being tested and the staff that will work them, a city spokesperson said.

For neighbors, this is creating quite a bit of anxiety, as you can imagine.

The city hasn't confirmed that testing will take place at the center being created at the ballpark,

but something is certainly happening there as they set up.

The city of Philadelphia says, as of Tuesday at 1 p.m. There are 18 reported cases of the coronavirus in the city.

So I was watching a lot of stuff on this,

just trying to see how things are progressing.

And it was actually bizarrely comforting to see all the stuff in place

and all the plans they have.

For example, medical vessels, military medical vessels,

and using hotels that aren't being used if there is an overflow.

They have to work from a worst case scenario back.
