Good morning in the news this morning.

A college entrance exam policy aimed at helping students with

disabilities was exploited to enable cheating in what is being described as the biggest school

admission scandal ever prosecuted by federal authorities, according to court papers made public

yesterday. At least 50 people were charged in the scheme, which included not only cheating on the

admissions test, but also

bribing coaches to gain admission for students into elite schools. Among the defendants were

actresses Felicity Huffman and Laurie Loughlin. A federal affidavit made public Tuesday

details allegations of test administrators being bribed to allow a third party to facilitate cheating

on the act and SAT exams.

The document says that in some cases, that involves providing answers, correcting answers

after the fact or having someone else poses the student to take the test.

So as this story was breaking yesterday, you know, the thing popped up on my screen and I'm there

and I started reading it and I felt like Kathy, the only thing I needed was like a bowl of popcorn.

Oh, me too.

Oh my God.

Me too.

Because it then layer kept adding on and on and on and it was just wild. And when I saw the headline, I saw their pictures, I'm like, okay, you know, usually when stuff like this comes out, it's, you know, it's released first. So I thought I'm going to read, you know, like an overview of the story.
