Good morning. In the news this morning, authorities say a father who was shot to death with his kids in the car last fall

was targeted by a wanted gunman. According to investigators, 42-year-old Raymond Lately was shot

multiple times through the windshield of his minivan on the 900 block of South 4th Street last November.

Lightley's 13 and 16-year-old daughters were inside of the car and another was standing close by when the gunmen

unleashed over a dozen shots. Police said lightly was hit in the chest, torso, and head

during the barrage of bullets, none of the teen daughters were injured. Officers from the Philadelphia

Police Department brought lightly to Jefferson University Hospital where he died.

Investigators later found at least 14 spent shell casings, many of which

were mere inches away from the van. Months after the deadly shooting, Philadelphia Police

Deputy Commissioner Ben Nash named 39-year-old Newshar Scott as a suspect wanted on the murder

and weapons charges. Nash told Fox 29 that police believe Scott mistakenly targeted lightly

in a retaliation shooting.

So sad. There is a dense fog advisory for this morning that's coming along with all of the rain.

Forecasters say the Delaware Valley will not be seeing snow from the massive winter storm stretching from Texas to the northeast.

Temperatures will actually warm up in our area today and tomorrow, like Preston said,

but Saturday the temperatures will drop in the 20s and 30s. The milder temperatures today and tomorrow

mean that we'll be dealing with rain instead of snow Thursday into Friday morning. But as

temperatures fall, that is when we'll see a transition over to a wintry mix. Meanwhile, a major

winter storm with heavy snow and disruptive ice will impact more than 100 million
