Today is Thursday, February 2nd. no sad bro, groundhog day. Good morning, Kathy. Merry Christmas. Yes. Good morning. In the news this morning, this is a terrible story. A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death at 8th and Market Street stepped to station last night. Officials say police were called just before 6 o'clock on a report of a stabbing. They found a 22-year-old man suffering from two stab wounds in the chest. He was found collapsed and bleeding on the sidewalk at the top of the stairs leading to the septa platform. He was taken to Jefferson University Hospital where he died a short time later. Police say the victim was on the platform with a woman when he got into an argument with a man. The situation quickly escalated.

Everything was caught on surveillance cameras.

Investigators say the man is known to both SEPTA and Philly Police.

They say the 30 to 40-year-old suspect was seen getting on the market Frankfurt line heading east.

Police continue to investigate the death.

confidential. Philadelphia Eagles offensive guard Josh Sills has been indicted on rape and kidnapping

charges in Ohio. The state attorney general announced Wednesday. 25-year-old Sills was indicted

by the Guernsey County Common Police Court grand jury on one count of rape and one count of kidnapping both first-degree felonies.

The police report states that the incident happened on December 5th, 2019.

It notes that Sills and the victim went to high school together and knew each other for seven or eight years.

It's alleged that on the night, Sills forced the victim to perform sexual acts and held her against her will in a vehicle

as he dropped her off at her cousin's house where the victim was staying. Investigators say the

alleged crime was reported immediately and that a detailed investigation was conducted. Sills, an

undrafted a free agent who appeared in just one game this season is a resident of Sarasville, Ohio.

The NFL said Sills has been placed on the commissioner exempt list, which means for now he may not participate in practices and games or travel with the team.

The matter will be reviewed under the NFL's personal conduct policy, the league said.
