Good morning in the news this morning.

Authorities in Chester County are investigating after a family was found dead inside of a home on Sunday.

The discovery was made at 1230 in the afternoon on the 100 block of Mountain View Drive in West Whiteland Township.

According to authorities, relatives from out-of-state called officers to request a welfare check.

Once inside, officers found four family members dead.

The initial investigation and

evidence at the scene indicated that the incident is the result of a murder suicide and that there

is no threat to the community at large. The incident is currently being actively investigated

and no further details will be released at this time, said the West Whiteland Township Police

Department in a news release. The victims have not been identified and autopsy will help determine the exact cause of death.

President Joe Biden on Monday will formally reinstate COVID-19 travel restrictions on non-US travelers

from Brazil, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and 26 other European countries that allow travel across

open borders, according to two White House officials.

South Africa is being added to the restricted list as well because of concerns about a variant of the

virus that has spread beyond the nation.

Biden is reversing an order from President Trump in his final days in office that called for

the relaxation of the travel restrictions as of Tuesday.
