Good morning in the news this morning.

The Sharon Hill Borough Council voted in favor of firing three police officers charged in connection with the shooting death of an eight-year-old girl after a high school football game last summer. The Borough Council voted six to one during a meeting Thursday night to relieve Officer Brian Devaney, Devin Smith and Sean Dolan of their duty due to the role in the death of eight-year-old fantability and the

wounding of three other officers.

I'm sorry, of three other people.

The three officers have yet to have their day in court on their guilt or innocence, but the

council's decision set off chaos among residents in attendance with some obviously agreeing

with the decision and others who did not.

There was no public discussion

among council members, just the vote on whether to fire the officers. The council secretary

conducted a roll call vote. The council secretary noted that there were six yes and one no and

that the notion passed. The incident happened on August 27, 2021 at the Academy Park High School

in Sharon Hill.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a urgent warning for parents Thursday.

Their warning families to stop using the Podster and Bumsey Infant Loungers.

The alert comes after reports of a 17-day-old baby and a four-month-old died after they were in one.

The stern warning from federal

safety officials is about the infant loungers, the Podster, Podster Plush, Bumsy, and Podster Playtime,

which were all made by Leech Co. Incorporated. In many cases, with these products, the baby turns in

away, either while they're sleeping or unattended, where they can't, where they get their face into a soft pillow material, said Nancy Cowles of kids in danger. She said then their noses and mouths can be obstructed so they suffocate. The CPSC chair said the agency is looking to take further action. They think the product should be recalled, but at this time the company has not chosen to do that what is it again it's a I don't know
