Good morning in the news this morning. A knife attack or wounded six people in an unprovoked attack in Paris's busy Gardinor train station Wednesday morning before being shot by police.

The French Interior Minister said praising the swift intervention of police that helped prevent any fatalities.

The knife men attacked several people, including a police officer with a bladed weapon during the morning rush at about 6.43 a.m.

Gerald Darminen told reporters at the scene flanked by Paris, mayor, and Hidalago. He said the unnamed assailant was currently between life

and death in the hospital. French media reported that he was shot in the chest. He thanked police,

Darmannan thanked police, for the effective and courageous actions that they took.

Without the extremely rapid intervention, there would surely be deaths, he said, detailing how the knife him was neutralized within one minute of attacking his first victim.

Several passengers and a border police officer were among the wounded, according to officials.

The officer was stabbed in the back by the assailant,

but was saved by a bulletproof vest. Five of the victims sustained light injuries, while one was

seriously injured in the shoulder blade and taken for emergency treatment. No specific motive,

including terrorism, has currently been suggested by authorities. France remains jittery following

a spate of deadly attack since 2015.

The commotion also caused serious disruptions to train service at the station, Europe's busiest

rail artery in the early morning rush hour.

After months of heated debate, the Central Buck School District on Tuesday voted to approve

a controversial policy about what can be displayed in classrooms.

Policy 321, first introduced in September September would stop teachers from displaying flags or posters in classrooms

that advocate for any issue that are not part of their curriculum.
