Good morning in the news this morning.

A manhunt continues in South Philadelphia for the man who fled on foot after a police chase that began in Delaware and resulted in two separate crashes in the city. The man has been identified as 20-year-old DeWan Robinson. Robinson remains on the loose, but the search for Robinson has been significantly curtailed after Wilmington police clarified that the suspect is wanted for felony parole and probation violations, not multiple

homicides as initially reported. The first crash happened late Wednesday morning in the

northbound lanes of 95 between the airport exit and Broad Street. Police in Wilmington, Delaware,

say it began when officers tried to pull Robinson over in the area of East 12th Street and

Rosemont Ave just before 11 a.m. yesterday. Robinson fled and got on 495

northbound, eventually merging onto 95 north. Wilmington police said as the pursuit was underway

near the airport, Robinson intentionally rammed another car on 95, which resulted in one of the

Wilmington police cars flipping over. In all, five Wilmington police officers were injured,

two of them when the car was flipped on 95.

The suspect then made his way off the highway where his black accurate was involved in a collision with a white SUV and a septibus abroad in Oregon.

After that, he fled on foot.

A large number of heavily armed police officers, canine units, and law enforcement helicopters converged on the area after it was initially believed that Robinson was armed in a dangerous killer.

I was later learned that the suspect who police said has ties to a Wilmington gang and did time in prison, did not have an active warrant for homicide.

In addition to the five Wilmington officers, a Pennsylvania state trooper was also injured in Wednesday's chase.

All were said to be non-life-threatening injuries, but they're still looking for this guy. It's crazy. Have you guys ever seen anything like that? Not like to the – car flip-over? No, no, not to the extent of this. Like a car chase or anything along the lines? Yes, I have. Yeah. It went past me very quickly, but it was a, it was a high pursuit, a police vehicle chasing a car. And, you know, you almost need a second to process it. Yeah, I mean, things can go bad real quick. Well, that's why a lot of times that, you know, there's the question, do you pursue? Yeah, do you pull back?

You know, it's wild. Depends on where it is. Yeah, yeah. In California, you know, they have it all the time, you know. In fact, they'll always cut to helicopter footage of it. It's the big afternoon thing to watch. Their own their states are so vast. Yeah, yeah. They can go for miles and miles and miles and they'll keep at them.

Yeah, I saw this kid getting chased on a dirt bike, you know, like a motorcycle dirt bike going down this long, windy, stretchy road. And I had the kids in the car. And this thing just came flying around the corner down the hill. I mean, it's a 25 mile per hour speed limit, and he going 60 70 and I just see a car you know cop car
