0:08.4	The Lord said to Samuel,
0:10.6	Fill your horn with oil and be on your way.
0:14.0	I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem,
0:17.0	for I have chosen my king from among his sons.
0:21.3	As Jesse and his sons came to the sacrifice,
0:25.4	Samuel looked at Iliab and thought,
0:28.3	Surely the Lord's anointed is here before him.
0:32.0	But the Lord said to Samuel,
0:34.3	Do not judge from his appearance or from his lofty stature because I have rejected him.
0:40.3	Not as man sees does God see, because man sees the appearance, but the Lord looks into the heart.
0:48.3	In the same way, Jesse presented seven sons before Samuel,
0:56.4	but Samuel said to Jesse,
0:59.6	the Lord has not chosen any one of these.
1:02.7	Then Samuel asked Jesse,
1:05.2	Are these all the sons you have?
1:07.4	Jesse replied,
1:10.7	There is still the youngest who is tending the sheep.
1:14.7	Samuel said to Jesse, send for him.
1:19.0	We will not begin the sacrificial banquet until he arrives here.
1:23.1	Jesse sent and had the young man brought to them.
