| 0:17.9 | Philadelphia police are investigating a triple shooting in northeast Philadelphia. It happened at 1135 yesterday evening on the 4200 block of Roosevelt Boulevard at Whitaker |

There's no word on any motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made at this time. A recent high school graduate from Brooklyn gave his life to save two friends in the water off of Ventnor, New Jersey over the weekend. 18-year-old Jalen Alston was visiting the Jersey Shore with two friends when he answered the call to help them as they started having trouble in the water on Friday night about 7 p.m. The U.S. Coast Guard says that Jalen pushed the two swimmers to shore, but he never returned himself. |
