When is it that you find yourself speaking to God or speaking to the universe or speaking to your angel guides, whatever higher power you may believe in?

More often than not, it's when we are sad, scared, anxious, sometimes

at our very lowest, maybe there's been an accident maybe we're panicking

maybe something has just gone really wrong and we go

it's when we pray, when we seek help, it's when we go, oh my God if this just works out, I'll never complain again, or please, please, please, help me, I need this, I need this.

Whatever higher power you believe in,

what if we invited that higher power in moments of celebration too, in moments of joy, in moments of love, in moments of appreciation. For the public... of I know that I've had my moments with God where I'm like please help my dad who died of addiction.

I would pray a lot about my dad.

Or when I moved to New York and I had no friends, no college education, nothing, no connections, and I needed

work. I needed to be able to afford to live there. I'd pray and I'd go, please, you know, help me,

guide my steps, show me the way, please, you know, open doors for me.

But in a way I feel like we miss out on quite a lot in being one-sided almost with our communication.

I almost think about it like a friend. Imagine if there's a friend if I could always call on when there's trouble.

Yes, she'll be there. Yes, she'll show up and that's awesome and oh my gosh. I'm so grateful I'm so lucky I have her.

But why not invite her to the party? Why not in moments of

bliss or moments of just really appreciating your life? You say thank you, come on into

this, come on into this decision, come in into this conversation, come on into this vacation, come on into this beautiful morning that I'm enjoying with my coffee as the sun rises higher higher higher and higher in the sky.

Come on into this. Sometimes I think our relationship with God is so much smaller than it can be and as a result so much less magical.

Yes, there's always this resource and we're going to go there when we need something.

But what if it were more of a 24-7 you're always supported in the good times too?

The creative times, the fun feel times, what if it's just this always on relationship?
