Well, good morning. Today, when we hear the gospel, the gospel tells us about Jesus giving us

himself as the bread of life. And unless you eat this flesh, you have no life within you. But if we do,

we will live forever. So if you're going to live forever, tell your faces.

It looks like this.

Some of you look constipated.

You just do.

And this is why some people just don't want to become Catholics,

because you see Catholics and say,

I go to daily Mass.

Can't you tell? Look at my face.

We need to be people of joy. At the last supper, John, chapter 15, Jesus says,

all this I have told you that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

Once I was going and given a talk and I did a parish mission

in Florida up and a panhandle. And then I, after the mission, I had to go give a talk in Tampa. And it was a six

hour drive. And so I'm driving. And in those days I was fatter. And these callers, if you're fat,

they choke you. so I had my collar

off next to me and in Florida every other mile you had to sit there and pay a toll so I'm getting to

the one toll and I pay the woman and she says how are you today sir and I go I'm blessed how are you

and she says don't we serve a great and mighty God? And I said, we serve a

great and mighty God. And as I drove away, there was one thing I knew about that woman. She was not a

Catholic, right? Because you ask Catholics how they are, oh, the valley of tears, oh, if my children

would go to Mass, oh, and it's like, really? Is that what happens? When you follow Jesus,
