Today's daily highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

This morning, when we started the show and when Gandhi was doing her three things,

one of her stories was about what happened five years ago today.

Go ahead, fill in the blanks.

And so I'm going to get into something here on that.

March 11th, 2020, it became official.

They declared a world pandemic because of COVID-19.

Everything had not shut down just yet, but this was the day that they said, yes, it's

officially a pandemic.

Within a week from today, the world had changed completely, as we know it.

Yeah.

And I'm sure you're thinking about where you were, what you were doing when you started

to have to stay home, or when

you were an essential worker, had to go to work, especially in the hospitals and people driving

trucks and getting things around.

And you know who you are.

And we appreciate everything you did and continue to do.

It was about five days later, as Gandhi was saying, that we were told to go home. We had our little

broadcast packs full of microphones and knobs and wires. Go home. And we all said to each other,

see you in a week. Yep. That was it. So luckily, our essentials, our essentials,

Nate and Skiery and Scotty B and some members of our engineering team, Josh and Jeff, they were here every single day in the studio to keep us afloat as we were at home, as we were instructed to do.

So it wasn't easy.
