Today's daily highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

So what would, I heard something going on there in the background.

0:13.7

I heard.

0:15.1

Did you guys hear what Nate said to scary?

0:17.4

Yes, I did.

0:18.4

I'm just being honest.

0:19.5

I don't know, but I just don't, you know that

0:23.3

you're on shaky ground when a friend like Nate comes up to you and says, scary, as your friend,

0:31.1

dot, dot, dot, you know there's some advice coming there that you probably need to hear, but you don't

0:35.8

want to hear it. The backstory is, yeah, I lost 30 pounds and I did a great job of it, everyone said. And now I started eating Rice Krispy treats because a big box came in. Can I? We were sitting in this Zoom room. I see Skiri get up and walk away. And then all of a sudden I hear Nate go, Skiri, as your friend. You might want to slow down a little bit. Rane it in. He said rain it in. Let me just say that Skiri walked out of the studio and I know when he walks out he's going for food because that's just what he does. So he's walking out. Where else is there to go? He's not going to go. He's walking out and he says, yeah, this shirt. This shirt. Oh, man, I'm telling you. Second quarter, Skierry's now third quarter is scary and a second quarter Skiery shirt. I'm like, okay, so this shirt looks a little tight. And he's saying this as he's walking towards the Rice Krispy Treats. So I just like, I'd do that. Dude, as your friend, you really got to rein it in

1:30.7

because he's walking towards the Rice Krispy treats. So I just live on like, dude, scary, as your friend, you really got to rein it in because he's already complaining that his third quarter body is in second quarter right. I'm outpacing. Yeah, this is not good. You know, my wife does that. The other day, she said, oh, these pants are a little tighter than they used to be. And in the very next breath, hey, do you want to go get some pizza? I'm like, wait a second.

2:38.5

The fact that those pants are a little tighter than they used to be, might be because we've been eating too much pizza. Maybe that's why. Well, doesn't mean she wants to stop eating the pizza. But when you hear someone say, as your friend, you're like, uh-oh. You know, there was no way to say what I was about to say without giving some sort of a disclaimer, right? Because what I was going to say it was going to be kind of... Or you could just not say it. No, I'm just saying you shouldn't say it. I don't know. So scary, this was an interaction between the two of you. It really has nothing to do with us other than we witnessed it. How did you feel when he said, as your friend, you really should put down the friggin' rice crispy tree? Really? Well, because, yeah, because as my friend, I felt, well, I felt that this was a friend trying to talk to me and be like, look, I'm going to be real with you, dude. You're going out for Rice, Krispy Treats a little too often, and you may, you may gain all this weight back sooner than you know. So to me, it triggers, ah, he's my friend telling

2:45.5

me, so he's framing it that way. Now, if he just would have just said, dude, lay off the Krispy

2:50.7

treats, then I might, I might have had a different reaction, if he just would have just said, dude, lay off the crispy treats, then I might,

2:53.1

I might have had a different reaction, but, but he kind of like softened the blow by prefacing

2:57.5

it with as your friend. Here's one thing that could happen. One thing that could happen would be,

3:04.2

he will continue to eat rice, crispy treats, but in private when you're not watching. And then he's going to start hiding rappers in the trash can so you can't see them. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So you never know how someone's going to respond to either being a friend or, you know, food shaming them. Right. So there's that. What, Froggy? I think that maybe Nate should not have done it in front of

3:26.4

all of us. Like maybe he should have leaned over and whispered or not in the mind. Like had Nate not

3:31.6

done in front of us, it would have probably been a little better. Wow, that totally changes everything.

3:36.6

Froggy's right. Now had you just gone up to Scary in private and said, hey, man, as your friend, you really, no, no, you really should lay off the rice cramping her. Okay. But you did it

3:47.0

in front of all of us. No, wait. Into a mic. I look at this, into a microphone. I'm staring into the
