0:00.0	Welcome to day 13 of these 15 days of prayer we have dedicated to becoming closer to God.
0:14.4	Truth is, we've discovered he's already close to us. And so we get to acknowledge, accept, and yield to this already close to us, God.
0:31.8	That's who he is.
0:34.5	Day 13 is a unique day in this journey, where we're focusing on this reality,
0:42.0	that through relationships and friendships, we can experience a nearness and a closeness to God that is unique.
0:53.8	Scripture declares where two or more are gathered in his name, he's there.
1:02.7	Not to say that he's not there when we're alone, but it is to say that he is there when we get together.
1:13.6	So today, I want to guide you through some prayers for friendships and relationships.
1:22.9	And then at the end of this guided prayer, invite you to connect with a friend, new friend, old friend,
1:32.8	at some point today and experience the unique sense of God when we spend time together talking about him,
1:50.0	singing about him, singing about him, or simply thinking about him.
2:01.8	As we continue, I wonder friendship is a fickle thing for you. I know it can be for me.
2:05.2	It can be rewarding, challenging, fulfilling, painful.
2:14.5	I wonder if there is a letting go that needs to happen for you or for me when it comes to our friendships.
2:26.5	Do you need to forgive a friend?
2:31.4	Do you need to release a friend?
2:36.1	Do you need to let go of a friendship?
2:41.6	He's here, you know, and he can help.
2:47.7	So do this with me.
2:49.8	With your palms, up, hands open.
2:56.5	Let's lay down the desire to control our friendships.
