PM Eastern Standard Time and I almost forgot about this podcast. I know it's only the third one,

but I almost forgot. Let me tell you why. A friend called me

last second and was like, hey, do you want to get a drink? It was like 10 o'clock. I was like,

I actually don't want to get a drink, but it's my buddy Bob from college, and he was here with

his girlfriend, so they stopped up Flemington, New Jersey,

where he prints and develops and processes film. And he said he's developing more film than he's

seen in the last bunch of years combined. There's a lot of film being processed and he's

enjoying it, right? I mean, it it's tough you have to get the job done

and you have to get people that are in the shooting film and then you have to do the processing

but it's not the easiest thing to be a mom-and-pop store now i know he doesn't sell a ton of gear

so he makes it on the service and and doing prints and all of those things but that was it also

got us to talk about college because

Antonelli Institute where we went to school is shutting down after this semester.

They're done.

And they were one of the last schools around that was dedicated to photography.

You know, Brooks shut down and I guess RIT didn't shut down yet.

They're still cranking along at $50,000 a year.

And of course, I always think about it.

In this day and age, you don't need the classic form of photography school.

Now, that doesn't mean you can neglect learning the fundamentals and basics of photography.
