Now, if you're new to the Daily Fro, this is where I sit down at the end of the day or night or evening, generally, and tell you what is on my mind before I go to bed.

It's kind of like a daily journal, and that's why I give the date and the time, because now it's stamped and out there in the world. So tomorrow, which is Thursday, the eighth, is the parade.

Now, the parade for those who aren't local here in Philadelphia is the Super Bowl parade for the Philadelphia Eagles,

who somehow managed to win the Super Bowl on Sunday by defeating the Patriots.

Now, this is a big deal, of course, in Philly because, one, the Eagles have never won the Super

Bowl. They've lost three, twice, twice.

I was going to say like three times prior, but no, two times prior.

Once in 1980, right after I was born.

And once again, in whatever year when McNabb choked and threw up in the huddle.

But this was not expected in the least. And this city has longed for a victory

from the Eagles for a long time. And the parade is something that is huge in Philly. When the Phillies

won the World Series in 2008, two million people showed up to watch them go around and parade and go speak and

victory, victory, rah, rah, rah, haza type of thing. And when the Flyers won in the 1970s,

two million people showed up in the 70s to fill up Philadelphia to watch them parade with the
