during the day to share what's on my mind with you and you get to share what's on your mind

with me by texting whatever the fuck the number is. I'm not in front of it. I'm at home doing this

later in the day in the evening. As I just said, it was 924. And so I'm making this podcast.

It's going to be a little bit of a rantee, Mick Ranterson. I've got a couple of topics here,

something about sports photographers and raw shooting. I've got something about, oh, so much talk.

And then I've got something about reviews, camera reviews, lens reviews, tech reviews.

Not so much the tech reviews, but more of the camera industry stuff.

Let's start right off the rip with the sports talk stuff about photography.

So you know that a lot of sports photographers tell you that

they shoot JPEGs because it's just so much easier to transmit, so much lighter. Absolutely. It is

much easier to transmit. But the funny thing happens when I show my photos from the baseball game

to the professional sports photographers,

oh, they also love to crop.

And they're like, wow, these colors look amazing.

Or how do you get the colors so good?

It's called I shoot fucking raw and I take the time to actually process my images,

not just take JPEGs that are baked in, however you bake them with whatever standard profile you have in your camera.

I mean, it's such a difference.

When you look at my baseball, when I, I'm just going to say I, when I look at my baseball photos and I, from recently with the Phillies, whether it was the A1 or the R5, and I'm like, damn these colors

pop.
