Summary

This is the Daily FRO for March 3rd 2020.

A lot of people get it but some don't understand how much work goes into making a video.  There's a lot that goes into the Real World Review of the Nikon V3.0 Firmware.  From setting up the shoots, prepping, editing, pre-production, filming, editing and posting.  This stuff just doesn't happen on its own....it all takes time and I wanted the people who don't get it to try and get it.

Jared Pollen Froano's photo.com. And this is the Daily Fro for March 3rd, 2020. The time now is 449 in the

0:16.0

mind with you and you get to share what's on your mind with me by calling and or texting to 6754-6376.

So what I want to talk about today is that I don't think most people realize or understand what goes in to making a YouTube video that we are making currently to test the Nikon firmware version 3.0.

0:44.3

I know some of you guys out there do understand how much work goes into this, but I don't think

0:49.6

the majority of people who watch videos on YouTube have any fucking idea how much time and effort goes into

0:57.0

making a review of something. A lot of people think you, you know, something gets announced

1:02.4

and like, where's your review? Why didn't you do it yet? We're waiting for your review.

1:06.8

It's like, well, right, it takes time. So what I want to run you through is the process that we are going through right now

1:13.6

to finish and finalize the review of version 3.0 firmware in the Nikon Z6, shooting

1:21.1

it in real world situations and getting it out to the public.

1:25.8

So I spent all weekend doing photo shoots with the Nikon Z6,

1:32.7

a bunch of adapted lenses, one adapted lens, a 70200, 2.8, and native lenses in multiple

1:39.0

situations and scenarios. I'm not going to use this video to give you my feedback and my thoughts and my review

1:45.1

just yet. But Stephen and I were having the conversation today that people just don't know what

1:49.4

goes into it. Now, I got a lot of shit for calling out the animal IAF in the preview that Nikon put out

1:58.6

into the world. Their demonstration video, the cat was just sitting there

2:01.7

and I'm like, wow, yay, show it with the dog or cat moving. But the issue goes beyond that. And the issue

2:10.5

goes to if you're going to show and record the electronic viewfinder what the camera sees, if you're

2:16.5

going to record it and show the focusing

2:18.6

box moving on a subject and say that it's hitting every single time and not show the photos,

2:26.0

there's a problem. You must show the photos because on the screen, and we saw this with the
