I'm going to get into the main crux of this podcast in just a minute.

But yesterday I was out at Conowingo Dam with Alan's camera and a couple of people,

photographing the eagles, the bald eagles that were flying around.

Now, there weren't that many because it was

about 34 degrees raining the whole time and windy. So that made things a little more difficult.

I was shooting with the Sony A-92 with a 200 to 600 and 600 really is a little short.

800 would be better, especially because I don't crop.

So an 800, you know, like a 400 with a 2X converter, a 400-28, and then 2-8, and then 2-X is,

you know, F4 and then 5-6.

So it would be 5-6 at 800 millimeters.

Wouldn't be terrible.

But I didn't want to take that lens out yesterday.

And also I didn't have a two X converter so that kind

of would defeat the whole purpose but not the greatest weather which makes it super difficult

to shoot and if you can't fill the frame fully then an image may look a little grainy whether

it is or whether it isn't is is I just think it's that way because you didn't fill
