Now, the other day I got an email from a guy by the name of Steve Ellis from Steve Ellis

Photography, who is in the UK, who sent me a personal email.

And I did ask for permission to read this.

I'm going to read this right now.

So that's what this episode is going to be about.

So here it goes. It starts off with, hi, Jared. I hope you don't mind me dropping you an email,

but I needed to let you know how far reaching your YouTube channel really is. I took to photography

when I was around 12, saving up from a Saturday job to buy my first Nikon,

which was an EM10. I'd shoot and shoot and shoot and develop in the dark room at school.

Long story short, it kept my interest, but I was no more than a sometimes hobby for years,

as a career business and family took over. I picked up the D-50 to shoot some of my

daughter Abby's, my daughter Abby years back, and she brought back my passion for shooting.

We'd head off out at weekends just to shoot, whatever, no plans, just drive, walk, chat, look,

and shoot. Then we'd spend hours looking through the images

and retouching some. Eight years ago, I lost her, very suddenly at aged 11. With absolutely no reason

ever found. Apart from having my heart ripped out, I couldn't actually touch my camera for over

two years. It just didn't feel right without her. One day I was taking flowers over to her

and saw the priest. He asked if I still took photos and suggested I start again as he was sure
