The time now is 807 a.m. here in San Francisco, this is episode number 196, where I sit down

sometime during the day to share what's on my mind with you and you get to share what's on your

mind with me by calling 267-454-6376. So I was home for a couple of days after being in Hawaii and L.A.

And then now I'm back in San Francisco at a function. I don't even think I'm supposed to say what it is.

But if you look at my Insta story, it may give it away. That's Jared Pollen on Instagram. I have no idea what I'm here for or really what's going on.

I don't hold out that it's going to be well worth Stephen and my time for being here.

You know, as of late in this month, you know there's been a lot of trips for a lot of companies.

There's one company that we haven't done a trip for if you are paying attention.

And technically, New York is considered a trip. We are here now for this event, and I really don't

think that it's going to amount to very much in the way of content. And that's kind of upsetting.

I mean, I'm not looking for pity or anything about this travel,

but I also want to point out that just the travel life is not a glamorous life.

Crisscrossing the country three times in a matter of, you know, a month is not exactly an alluring

thing. It's not the greatest thing since sliced bread to constantly be in an airplane.

I'm not saying it's bad and traveling is bad, but what you have to understand about what we do as a business is if I'm traveling and Steven's traveling, I'm paying for Stephen to be here.

And that means Stephen isn't at home working on stuff that that we have planned to work

on. So it kind of pushes things back and it has to be worthwhile to take these trips. And the honest

thing is I should have probably opted out of taking the trip. But you got to listen to when PR people

are like, this is going to be good, you should be here.

But I just need full honesty from these guys sometimes.

Even if they don't want to share the stuff, I just gotta be like, look, I'm not gonna cover something if it's shitty.
