This is episode 181 where I sit down sometime during today to share what's on my mind with you

and you get to share what's on my mind with you,

So I am currently in New Orleans, Louisiana, and I have been here for the last couple of days at NASA's Misho, I'm saying it wrong, Misho, right?

Misho Rocket Factory, it's where they build components for the SLS, which is the future rocket that's going to send manned space missions to Mars and the moon and beyond.

And so I was part of a group of 12 photographers, or they called a NASA Social, where we

were selected, we submitted to be selected to come out here and photograph.

Now, one of the caveats is that NASA, I guess, being a government

agency, doesn't pay your way. They don't pay for your flights. They don't pay for your hotel.

They don't even pay for your lunch, which is one thing that I think they should cover somehow,

figure out a way to cover. But this was the first social that they did, and it so happens that

Mike Kelly is here. He's a photographer. If you don't know him,

go look him up. He did the Wake Turbulance photo from LAX with all of the takeoffs and landings,

or maybe it was just all the takeoffs. And then Alia LaCardy is here as well. You may know him

for his landscape photos traveling the world. So that's what he does.

And we actually didn't know that we were all signing up for this.

And we all got picked.

So we came out here.

Now, we did take on the expense ourselves.

That's a choice.
