So I got a message the other day, and by the day I mean yesterday, talking about,

I wish you would do less gearhead videos.

Okay, so the dilemma. The dilemma lives, and that's gear videos versus educational

videos. And let's take car video channels on YouTube. They're all gear related. It's like

my new Lamborghini, my new baguadi, my, I dented my Lamborghini.

It's going to cost me $8,000 to fix this little scratch. It's going to, I got a bug on my windshield.

It's just like those are car channels. And it's crazy because gear, gear, gear, gear, gear works there.

And most of that gear is gear that no, most people watching will never actually

own. And that may be the same thing with some of the stuff that I do when it comes to

gear videos in photography. It just doesn't seem like you can get as much in terms of

reach or views with it as you can with the old, you know, car videos. But the dilemma is gear videos versus educational

videos. When I started, it was all, not all, but a lot of basic how-toes, basic how to do this,

photography 101, different world. Eight years ago on YouTube was a totally different world, different ballgame.

And so I made a lot of those videos.

And those videos did well for the time.
