This is episode number 170 of the Daily Fro, which I probably already said, but that's where I sit down sometime during the day to share what's on my mind with you, and you get to share what's on your mind with me by calling or texting 267454-6376 and it's 930 and I'm at the factory.

I'm here alone by myself because that's what alone means by myself because that's again

what alone means and I'm organizing old raw files into a new

into a new like archive hierarchy because I'm setting up the computer here at the factory and

I am setting up a new lightroom catalog and then

debating whether or not I should have multiple catalogs or one big catalog.

And I reached out to my people at Adobe and I asked the question, should I have one big catalog

or should I have numerous other smaller catalogs?

Because I know some people do a catalog for every single shoot, and I think that's crazy.

I think it's crazy to do a catalog for every single shoot because how do you find things?

And I mean, I know you find it the same way that you find it if it's in the hierarchy,

but how do you say, I want to compare this image from this shoot to another image from another shoot if they're not all in a catalog together?

That's what I'm talking about.

So the people at Lightroom or Adobe were saying you could have, oh, I don't know, two million pictures in a catalog or something, and that would be kind of fine.

It used to be that a half a million would be too many i i don't have that many pictures but i went back and i organized from

well i have a archive that says 2006 to 2008 and before i didn't touch that one but i took everything

from basically 2010 till uh about today and started splitting them into folders.

Examples, I got folders, I got a family folder, I've got Frono's photo folder, I've got one,

so inside the Fronos photo folder, there's five minute portraits, Fro Factory, General Review

Photos, that just means from reviews in the past,
