The time now is 9.33 a.m. This is episode number 161 where I sit down sometime during the day

to share what's on my mind with you and you get to share what's on your mind with me by calling

or texting 267-4546376. So it seems like Fridays are the days

where I don't feel like doing the daily fro at night for whatever reason. Maybe it's just the

end of the week and maybe it is what it is. And then I get up on Saturday morning and go ahead

and make a podcast. So a couple of things to talk about today. We shot the

LICA yesterday. We made a challenge video. I'm going to get into that. And also I selected

one of you guys out there to come over here today, which is Saturday, and go out for an hour

or two and just talk photos, talk photography, shoot some things, give you some tips,

give you some tricks. So I selected, I guess it was a father and a son combination, and I appreciate

everybody who sent in a message and said that they would like to come in. I mean, some people

are from two, three hours away. The person that I did select ended up being from 20 minutes away. This is the first time I'm

doing this. I may continue to do this. So please stay tuned in future episodes when I request

this or ask for this. I may give you some more notice than I did, which was like a day and a half

last time. But it's just something that I want

to do that helps me find something to do, to be honest. So we're meeting up today and we're

going to shoot and that's really what that's going to be. So yesterday we went out with the Lyca.

Now it's the Lyca MD. If you don't know what a Lyca MD is, it is a Lyca without, it's a digital Lyca with, I guess, a 24 megapixel sensor and no screen.

And it only shoots manual.

I mean, it has aperture priority.

And where the screen is, there's actually an ISO dial, a physical ISO dial that's big on the back that goes from 200 all the way up to 6,400, and I've got the Sumilux 50mm 1.4 lens on it.
