The time now is 10.13 p.m. This is episode 151 where I sit down sometime during the day to share what's on my mind with you,

I want to take you guys way back, way back into the way back machine,

maybe to when I was in fourth grade or fifth grade or something along those lines.

And my dad wasn't happy with my grades. And so the ultimate threat for me wasn't, no're not going to watch TV it was you're not

going to get to go to any more flyers games now back in those days you could afford tickets my dad would

have season tickets and we would keep half the games and my like so there were 41 home games

in an 82 game season and my dad would I I guess, sell half or give half to his brother

or however it worked. And my brother would get to go to a bunch and I'd get to go to a bunch.

And I loved it. I lived for it. But the threat came down that if my grades don't go up,

then I'm not going to go to any more Flyers games. And so I guess I was able to get my

grades up. But my dad had an interesting way of putting it. And I struggled in school at times,

especially in certain classes. And he always said this. He's like, if a C plus is the best that you can do and you busted your ass and you got a C plus,

then so be it.

But if you did a half-ass job and got a C-plus, then that's not acceptable.

If you didn't try, you didn't give your all or you didn't seek help and you just

wussed out. And I agree with that. And there's something that I don't really like. And it's when

somebody or people or groups or whoever knowingly or willingly choose to allow something to

fail because they don't either want to put the work in or they

don't want to let somebody know or they just will be like, well, just blame me. And see,

that's just the wrong mentality. Knowing that you've done something or you failed to do something,
