| 0:00.0 | Jared Polinfrono's photo.com. This is the Daily Fro for April 26, 2018. The time now is 1021 in the PM. |
| 0:10.1 | This is episode number 88. That would be Eric Lindrosse, number 88 of the Daily Fro, where I sit down sometime during the day and share what is on my mind with you, and you get to share what's on your mind with me by calling me at 26745466. |
| 0:24.6 | Leave a voicemail. Leave a text. Do one of those things. And also, while you're at it, if you're looking at your phone, look at it. |
| 0:32.8 | Open up your app store for Google or iOS and download My Gear vault right now. If you haven't done it, |
| 0:40.6 | please do it. And also, if you're not insured, get a quote, get covered, get protected, |
| 0:48.7 | stop doing GoFundMe's. Anyway, so today, I wanted to leave the house around 915, and what ended up happening |
| 0:57.2 | is it ended up being like 10.15. Now, I just got in the mail a lacy, 5-terabyte, rugged drive. |
| 1:07.4 | I also bought Stephen one just so that he could have an extra one or switch to using it. |
| 1:12.3 | It's Thunderbolt USBC also, so it's got both. It's 250 bucks for 5 terabytes, but it's a drive |
| 1:19.3 | that I just want to have that's fast that I can take to that, take from here to the factory or |
| 1:23.9 | travel with and back things up. And so I plugged into the back of the Lexar hub, |
| 1:30.7 | and I'm not sure if I should have done that with the Thunderbolt because it's Daisy |
| 1:33.5 | chained. I don't know if that's maybe not a good Lexar hub that's not good for Thunderbolt or not, |
| 1:38.6 | but it was really motoring. I was moving 90 gigs or something of stuff, and it was motoringoring, it was 56, maybe it was 60 gigs, |
| 1:47.7 | I don't know, it was motoring really good. And then at the end, it just freaking tanked. |
| 1:52.9 | Like it tanked itself and wasn't moving. It was moving like 10 megabytes a second. Like I was |
| 1:57.9 | getting freaking pissed off. And it wasn't transferring the way I wanted it to |
| 2:01.7 | transfer. And then the computer was like, I got 200 some gigs on there out of three terabytes, |
| 2:07.3 | you know, so not a lot of storage left. And the reason that I chewed up a lot of storage is because |
| 2:11.6 | Dropbox decided to be a dick when I reset my computer and when things are synced, it started to |
| 2:16.9 | download, we've got 52 terabytes or 58 terrap, 50 some... when I reset my computer and when things are synced, it started to download. |
| 2:25.6 | We've got 52 terabytes or 48 terabytes of data up in the cloud on Dropbox, and it started to download data. |
