So I was just watching this documentary, Hope and Fury,

the Movement and the Media, which is about Dr. Martin Luther King and the protests

during the Civil Rights Movement.

And it is another fascinating documentary that showcases as much as it can what it was like to cover something like this,

and how the movement used media in its day to get the message across.

They knew what times they needed to do things to get them done before it could,

or it would be too late to get to the news stations.

They chose to go where they needed to go to make sure that the,

something was going to happen, that the media was there to capture it to share with the rest of the country who was blind to what was going on.

And then when you watch people screaming at the African American students who just want

to go to school in Little Rock and you get mothers and children and old ladies and old men yelling because

somebody wants to go to school, it is absolutely mind-boggling to think that that was,

well, I mean, it's 60-ish, 50-some years ago.

And some of that still exists today in different forms.
