Hi, today is Thursday, August 18th. Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning in the news this morning. Authorities investigating dozens of burglaries and car thefts in Bucks County believe the criminals are operating in a wider area.

The Warrington Township Police Department released surveillance video and pictures from early Wednesday morning.

Police say the thieves target unlocked vehicles between 1.30 and 430 in the morning.

If the targets find a garage door opener, police say they burglarize the home. If they find

the keys, they steal the car. Police believe the thieves are also targeting cars and homes in

Doylestown, New Britain, and Solberry. They say that there have been 25 thefts from automobiles,

four residential burglaries and four stolen vehicles so far. When my wife's car was stolen,

Kathy, it was right in the pocket at the time

you mentioned. It was 1.45 close to 2 o'clock in the morning. And so the vehicle pull up. There were a number

of guys in the car. I have it on a number of different security cameras. And they, the guys got out and

were checking the doors. And any door that was locked, car door was locked, they just went right past. We don't know what the story was with my wife's car, but they got into it quickly. She, she believed she locked it. Don't know. But they were in it and had it running within 20 seconds. Wow. And they, you never found it, no trace of it ever? No, no. I mean, this is, quickly.

This was a crew that did this.

One stolen automobile was recovered in Doylestown Wednesday morning.

Another stolen vehicle was seen in Chester City early Wednesday morning, but has not been recovered.

The other two vehicles are still missing.

Don't leave anything like a wire that suggests that there's something in your center console,

take stuff out of the seats.
