But we're going to push through so that you guys can get your fantasy baseball updates.

Let's dive into everything baseball related from Tuesday, April 7th.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions injuries, news and notes from around the league.

We'll get things off with the bad news. The injuries keep coming, especially for the Blue Jays as outfielder. Addison Barger was placed on the 10-day IL with an ankle sprain. This is likely to be a minimum stay for the Blue Jays right fielder. In the meantime, Nathan Lucas and Miles Straw will form a platoon in right field.

Second baseman Tyler Fitzgerald, who was acquired from the Giants just last week, was recalled

from the minors in a corresponding move, but he will be playing on the bench.

Shortstop, Gabriel Arias was placed on the 10-day IL by the Guardians with a hamstring strain.

It's a moderate strain, so Arias will miss more than the minimum time. He's likely going to need two to four weeks. Infielder Juan Brito was recalled from the minors in a corresponding move, and he'll take over at second base, allowing Brian Rokio to shift over to shortstop to replace Arias as the everyday guy in that role for the guardians.

Outfielder Austin Hayes was officially placed on the 10-day IL with a hamstring strain.

Hayes will miss two to four weeks.

And in the meantime, Andrew Benintendi shifted from DH to left field to replace Austin Hayes.

Benintendi is likely going to be limited to seeing at bats only against

right-handed pitchers. So we'll see some guys come off the bench there. And it looks like Lenin Sosa could get every day at bats at DH to replace Benintendi, who's moving to the outfield. Outfielder Dustin Harris was selected from the minors in a corresponding move, but he'll be on the bench as a left-handed hitter.

And lastly, first-faceman Carlos Santana was be on the bench as a left-handed hitter.

And lastly, first baseman Carlos Santana was placed on the 10-day IL within a ductor strain.

Santana shouldn't miss more than a minimum time.

And Ildemarovar Vargas will split time at first base with first baseman, Lucan Baker, who was selected from the miners.

And to make room for Baker on the 40-man roster, outfielder Jordan Lawler was transferred to the 60-day IL. He's out with a fractured wrist, and we're not going to see him for at least the next two months now. In terms of transactions, starting pitcher Patrick Corbyn was recalled from the miners. He's on the Blue Jays now, and he will enter a rotation that's
