Let's get into everything baseball related from Saturday, April 4th.

And we will start with some bad news

with a few injuries.

Alejandro Kirk, of course, catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, has a thumb fracture.

We'll be put on the 15-day IL expected to miss about a month or more.

Brandon Valenzha corresponding move being called up as the backup catcher.

That does mean that Tyler Heineman will get to the majority of the shares at the backstop.

Most likely in deeper leagues do be aware of that.

Jose Boutto, we talked about him a couple days ago.

Reliever for the San Francisco Giantsants blood clat removal ended up being the reason

why he was put on the IL.

He will miss about half of the season here, two to four months, which is terrible news,

but we of course hope he's all right.

For any of those stranger kind of injuries that require surgery, it definitely does pump

the brakes a little bit more than

just say a normal thing like a fracture that we've seen a million times.
