Let's dive into everything baseball related from Wednesday, September 24th. started off start it off, as always, with the transactions injuries.

News and notes from around the league kicking things off with the bad news.

As outfielder, Wyatt Langford was placed on the 10-day IL within oblique strain.

This will ultimately end Langford's season.

In a corresponding move, outfielder, Billy McKinney was selected from the miners.

But to replace Langford in the lineup,

Alejandro Osuna will be on the strong side of a left field platoon while Michael Hellman

gets everyday playing time in center field for the Rangers to replace Langford.

And our other aisle placement involves outfielder Mike Talkman, who's placed on the 10-day

aisle with a torn meniscus.

He will be out for the season. And it's unclear if he will require any sort of surgery or if his opening day is in jeopardy at this time.

In a corresponding move, it looks like we'll see Dominic Fletcher take over in a platoon

in right field alongside Derek Hill to replace Talkman on the White Sox.

In terms of transactions infielder and Mundo Sosa was activated from the 10-day IL by the Phillies after missing time with a groin strain.

And Bundo Sosa will take over as the everyday shortstop for the Phillies with Trey Turner still on the IL,

which will shift Bryson Stott to second base

and forced Otto Kemp and Weston Wilson to see more time on the bench.

And of course, Bonnie Mawton was designated for assignment.

Next, starting pitcher Roki Sasaki was activated from the 60-day IL after missing a few months

with a shoulder impingement.

Sasaki will pitch out of the bullpen for the Dodgers and threw a perfect seventh
