Hello, everybody, and welcome to another edition of the first pitch podcast on Hitcher List.

So what do you say?

We just jump right in starting, of course, with the news.

Over the last couple podcasts podcasts i have talked about how

paul blackburn was supposed to join the uh met's bullpen upon returning from injury but instead

he has been designated for assignment by the metz this is the move that makes room for

nolan mclean to make his MLB debut.

So McLean is going to debut as part of the Mets roster.

Paul Blackburn has been DFAed and will now hit waivers and potentially be joining another team.

So again, he won't be joining the bullpen.

That is what the thought was or what was being reported over the last few days, that's not what's going to happen.

Max Muncie, Dodgers version, lands on the IL with an oblique strain. He'll be replaced by Buddy Kennedy.

Kennedy was just claimed off waivers from Toronto, and instead of going to AAA, anything like that, he will join the big

league roster. Julian Fernandez has been DFA to make room on their 40 man. Kennedy is not

likely to get much playing time. He'll be more of a bench in-field role, but he does benefit

because he gets to be on the Dodgers roster as
