Hello and welcome to another edition of the first pitch podcast on pitcher list.

My name is Trevor Hooth. Glad to be back with you.

We got, well, a little bit of baseball.

I think we had like five games, but either way, there's news going around.

Of course, it's trade deadline time, which is always exciting.

So let's jump right in

with the first trade of the trade deadline. Yes, the Mariners acquired Josh Naylor for pitching

prospects. Brandon Garcia and Ashton Izzy from the Seattle Mariners. Garcia has been up with the Mariners this year.

Should be able to contribute to the Diamondbacks pitching staff whenever they need them.

Then they do need arms.

They have been hit hard.

Their bullpen has by the injury bug.

So getting Garcia should help them.

They also got Ashton Izzy, who less, you know, exciting for redraft fantasy purposes.

But he is, he does have some fun stuff.

He struggled this year.

So it's kind of a taking the upside kind of thing there.

But Brandon Garcia, Ashton Izzy heading to the Diamondbacks, Josh Naylor,

heading to the Mariners. Going tolor, heading to the Mariners.

Going to be interesting to see the move that gets made there.
