Let's dive into everything baseball related from Sunday, June 22nd.

We'll start it off as always with the transactions, injuries, news and notes from around

the league kicking things off with the bad news as starting pitcher Ryan Yarbrough was placed

on the 15-day IL with an oblique strain.

Pretty unfortunate Yarbrough likely out longer than the minimum 15 days.

As I always say, oblique strains can be tricky.

Alan Wynens is expected to be recalled from the miners to replace him in the rotation

with a start today in Cincinnati.

That's not one I'm going to be trusting.

I would also not expect Wynens to be in the rotation along with Marcus Stroman,

recovering from an injury that has kept him out since April.

Jvian Sandridge was recalled from the miners in a corresponding move to Yarbrough heading to the IL,

but is likely headed back to the miners to make room for Wynens today.

And our other IL placement involved starting pitcher Hunter Dobbins,

who was placed on the 15-day IL with an elbow strain. Pretty unfortunate Dobbins likely headed for an extended IL stint in a corresponding

move starting pitcher Richard Fitz was recalled from the minors and is expected to start in LA
