who's always happy to have you with me. We got lots to get to news and, of course, notable performances

and seeing what's coming up later today. Let's jump right in in the news. Ivan Herrera, catcher for the Cardinals, is hurt once again,

and he may miss about a month with a hamstring strain.

No official timetable, just some guessing going on,

but he's likely to be out longer than the 10-day I.L that he was placed on.

It's a big loss for the Cardinal lineup.

lineup. They have been carrying three catchers. So they're not likely to call up another one. Maybe

that means Thomas Seguise is going to be coming back up. He hit really well, but, you know,

The big news, though, of course, being Ivan Herrera is going to be out with a hamstring strain.

Kyle Gibson opted out of his minor league deal with the raise.

He did pretty well during his time in the minors, but Ray's just don't have a rotation spot for him.

So he will have a chance to find another opportunity, potentially a big league one,

more than likely a minor league deal with a path to a big league.

Opportunity will see what happens in the coming days.

It's been a rough time for Diamondbacks fans.

Injuries just piling up. AJ Puck is officially going to be missing the rest of the season after undergoing surgery. He may miss into next season. It was elbow surgery.
