Hello everybody, welcome back to Daily Easy English Expression. Today's expression is

Behamberg! Bamberg! Now actually this is a very old English expression, but we still use it

around Christmas time. There is a story called A Christmas Carol by Charles

Dickens. And in the story, the main character hates Christmas. And whenever anybody says,

Merry Christmas, he always says, bah, humbug, B-A-H, bah, with an exclamation point, point and bah humbug basically means ah who cares christmas is stupid this is the idea it doesn't mean

christmas you could say happy birthday shane bah humbug i don't care be quiet Shane Shane have a happy

day bah humbug happy day there's no happy day. Bah, humbug. Happy day.

There's no happy day.

So basically a really negative person, like the Scrooge, would use this expression.

It's a great expression.

No, it's not.

It's a terrible expression.

Bah, humbug! there's no Santa.
