Yesterday, it was kind of a delight to see. I'm not going to lie. Yeah. I mean, it's like, you don't want to go, but then at the same time, you know, inside voices. We're all doing that.

So yesterday, of course, the news broke that Jeff Zucker resigned after revealing not to anybody's surprise, apparently, that he's been having a relationship with the executive vice president of communications.

A woman named Allison gollist for a long, long time. They say it's only been romantic since COVID, but a whole bunch of people at CNN are saying, no, this has been an open secret for basically a decade. You guys are full of shit.

So anyway, so he resigned. She stayed. And then so that was news for like a hot minute. But then people started to be like, wait a minute. Why would like, why would he resign over a consensual relationship? This seems odd.

It seems really odd because you got like Jeffrey to Ben who did all the things and that he's there. And I just, I don't understand that was just the most bizarre thing to me. I'm like, there's more to the story. Obviously.

Oh, yeah. Well, now the, you know, the news is starting to trickle out that what's going on is that Chris Cuomo, who I've, as you know, left under not great circumstances in the process of suing to get the $18 million that's left on his contract.

His lawyers pushed this issue and essentially went to Warner Brothers and said, hey, you're, you're CNN dude is he's breaking all kinds of company guidelines. And so why should Chris Cuomo not get his severance or not get his $18 million payout for not following corporate guidelines when, in fact, the president of the entire company is also not following corporate guidelines.

And I'm not going to say he doesn't have a point because he does have a point. He kind of, I hate to be on his side or anybody's side in CNN, but he does have a really good point. And then there's all this stuff about, you know, this chick was telling, you know, Chris, telling Andrew, I get the Cuomo's confused. Get Andrew telling Andrew,

somebody go on Christmas show and like a net kind of navigating that whole process, which kind of makes her a crappy communications director, whatever she was, whatever her title was her fancy title.

I just the whole thing because I mean, I don't know, but then again, if you're doing communications and CNN, your career kind of sucks anyway.

Well, I mean, it's the whole thing is so sketch because she worked for a period of time as Andrew Cuomo's communications director. And so the fact that he, that Jeff and she were both pressuring Andrew Cuomo to come onto the network.

It just, all of it was not not good. And so I don't expect that we're, we've seen the last of this. This is going to become a much bigger story.

Like I don't know that she's going to get to keep her job right now. She is, but there's talk about her losing her job. There's even talk about Brian stelter losing his job. And I don't even know why because just hopefully it's just because he's a potato.

And he needs to just be gone already or a thumb. He's just a big time. Yeah, but why even even if she was able to stay there, why would she want to, why would she want to stay there? I don't understand that after all that's been done. I mean, can you walk up and down the halls and be like,

Oh, nice to everybody. Hey, Jan. Hey, Jan. Yeah. I mean, I did all that. It's like, what a lunch. I mean, it's like, can you imagine?
