So so much to get to oh my god. This is Will Smith's official apology to Chris Rock. So we heard him tearfully apologize to everybody in the Oscar audience.

The other night now he has apologized to Chris Rock. And so it says violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable, inexcusable jokes at my expense or part of the job, but a joke about Jada's medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

I would like to publicly apologize to you Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I'm embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness. I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I'd like to apologize to the Williams family and my King Richard family.

I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us. I am a work in progress.

All right. Well, there you have it. It is sure doesn't like that that an Oscar taking away right does not want that Oscar taking away. So I'm sure his PR people were like, you probably need to say something that makes you sound like you're sorry.

Yeah, yeah, and instead of instead of having your son go, this is how we do right. That's going to be a little hard to put back in the toothpaste too. That's to really do that. Yeah.

So I mean, I don't think there's any question that is publicist or PR person wrote that for him. But whatever, it had to be said, right. So you and I are going to get into that a little. We're going to get into the whole

So he responded to someone on Twitter yesterday with what he would have said had he been

seeing the Oscars. And this is what he said. He said, I'd start with, hello, I hope the show helps cheer up the ordinary people watching at home. If you're unemployed, for example, take some comfort in the fact that even if you had a job, your salary probably wouldn't be as much as the goodie bag that all the actors have just been given.

I'm proud to announce that this is the most diverse and progressive Oscars ever. Looking out, I see people from all walks of life, every demographic under the sun, except for people, obviously, fuck them.
