His father was an officer in the royal army, and he spent a year at the court of King Clotterre

in the pomp of the world. His heart was set on something greater. After inheriting an estate,

practiced human sacrifice. One day, a man named Ovan was chosen as an offering to the gods,

hung on a gibbet, left to die. Wolfren begged King Radbaud to save him. The people

furious at the idea finally agreed, but only if Wolfren's God could save him. Wolfren prayed,

and after two hours, the rope snapped. Ovan fell to the ground, still alive. He later became a

priest. Despite witnessing miracles, King Radbaud hesitated. Just as he was
