This episode we are continuing a series that I have not quite identified a good name for.

For the time being I am calling it letters.

Essentially we're just going down the list of the learner's dictionary, reading definitions

for words in alphabetical order, and reading some example sentences providing my commentary if I have any and you know

it's a good way I think for you know apparently I have quite a few listeners that are not native English speakers

Maybe this helps you understand and speak English a little better if English is your first language then this should bore you to the point of no return, you're going to fall asleep, I hope.

So today we're working on letter D. Also don't worry I mean if you didn't listen to A through

C doesn't matter it's not exactly you know it isn't something that has to be experienced

in chronological order it's all the same kind of stuff.

So yeah as mentioned we're working on letter D, so let's just jump right into it.

Dad, noun. It is informal, referring to a person's father.

His mom and dad both said he can't go.

Often used as a form of address.

Dad, can I borrow the card tonight?

To which the answer is most likely no.

Daily adjective, always used before a noun, meaning happening, done, made, used, or existing every day.

Example, television has become part of our daily, meaning day-to-day lives.

Example two.

It has changed every aspect of daily life.

I started eating healthier and added exercise to my daily routine.
