Instagram made headlines when it said in June that the app is no longer just a square photo sharing app,

since it's pivoting its focus to shopping and video

but where does that leave photographers who want a social photo sharing experience?

It's out there. It's called Glass, and it's a subscription-based iOS app designed

to be a home for photographers. In other news, Apple has delayed plans to roll out its child sexual abuse detection technology that it

chaotically announced last month citing privacy concern feedback from customers and policy groups.

Close to 100 policy and policy groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union,

called on Apple to abandon plans to roll out the technology.

In a statement, Apple told Tech Runch that they have decided to take more time over the coming months before releasing the child safety feature.

And a startup called PlayBite wants to become the Tic-Tock for games.

The company's newly launched iOS app offers tools that allow users to make and share simple

games on their phone, as well as a vertically scrollable full screen feed where you can play the games created by others.
