Here is your daily crunch. The EU's lead data protection regulator is super concerned. It's officially opening two investigations into EU institutions use of cloud service provided by US Cloud Giant's Amazon and Microsoft.

The worry here is about the transfer of European's personal data to the United States.

One of the investigations will focus on the use of Microsoft Office 365 by the European Commission.

Brainified is a startup working to apply data science to personalization and do it in a way that makes

Now the company announced the funding round totaling $11 million.

Revenue Cat, a startup offering a series of tools for developers of subscription-based apps,

has raised $40 million in Series B funding,

valuing its business at $300 million post money.

With the additional funding, the company will lower its pricing to put its tools in reach of more developers.
