First up, Apple released earnings for its fiscal second quarter yesterday,

reporting revenue of $58 billion, a decline of 5% from the year ago quarter.

It also reported quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.46, down 10%, the market seems to approve, with shares jumping after the numbers were

released.

In apps, Facebook announced at its F8 conference that dating is opening in 14 more countries, bringing the total to 19.

It will launch in the US before the end of the year.
