Here's your Daily Crunch. Why hasn't Spotify rolled out hi-fi yet?

The leading music streaming business in the world has yet to release the higher priced, higher quality

tier to its service, and it appears licensing is to blame.

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek hinted at it when speaking to analysts and investors during Spotify's quarterly and annual earnings

release last week. Ek said to investors, quote, many of the features that we talk about and especially

that's related to music ends up into licensing.

So I can't really announce any specifics on this other than to say that we're in constant dialogue

with our partners to bring this to market."

And Meta is rolling out a feature called Personal Boundary in its Horizon worlds and Horizon

Venues virtual reality spaces to combat harassment.

Each avatar will have a bubble with a radius of two virtual feet,

so they won't be able to come within around four feet of each other.

If someone tries to move into your personal space, their forward motion will halt when they get too close.
