Twitter's e-commerce initiatives now include live stream shopping and Walmart will be

the first retailer to test the new platform.

Over the past year Walmart has invested in live shopping by hosting events across social platforms

like Tik-Toc and YouTube and soon it'll debut Twitter's first ever shoppable live stream.

On November 28th, Walmart will kick off a Cyber Deals live event on Twitter

where users will be able to watch a live broadcast, shop the featured products, and join the conversation around the events by posting tweets.

In other news, General Motors has taken a 25% stake in Seattle-based Electric Boating Company, Pure Watercraft.

Jams Move reflects a broadening interest in all things the EV, including boats and other

vehicles, and comes as part of the automaker's commitment to invest $35 billion in electric and autonomous technology

through 2025. Pure Watercraft has also partnered with major boat manufacturers to sell complete electric boats,

including a pontoon barge, fishing boat,

and two rigid inflatable boats.
