Here's your daily crunch. Online Stock Trading Platform Robin Hood has confirmed it was hacked last week

with more than 5 million customer email addresses and 2 million

customer names taken as well as a much smaller set of more specific customer data.

The company said in a blog post that a malicious hacker had

socially engineered a customer service representative over the phone

November 3rd to get access to customer support systems that allow the hacker

to obtain customer names and email addresses

but also the additional full names, dates of birth, and zip codes of

310 customers. Robin Hood also said that 10 customers had more extensive account details revealed.

Moving on, Lift and Motional, the Aptive Hyundai joint venture aimed at commercializing

autonomous driving technology

have announced plans to launch their first fully driverless ride hailed service in

Las Vegas in 2023. The news follows multiple years of collaboration, both between the two companies and within the City of Sin.
